Despite what the name suggests, herbal teas are not really true teas. True teas, including green tea and black tea are brewed from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. Whereas, herbal teas are made from dried fruits, flowers, spices or herbs.

2. Black Tea Made with fermented tea leaves, black tea has the highest caffeine content. Studies have shown that black tea may protect lungs from damage caused by exposure to cigarette smoke. It also may reduce the risk of stroke.
