VATa-Kapha
Being a Vata-kapha type means that two doshas are predominant in your constitution.
Vata means to blow or move like the wind. Consisting of the elements air and ether, it is the principle force of motion in the body and mind.
Vata constitutes vitality and governs all movement processes at a micro-cellular and macroscopic level – from the blinking of your eyelids to the movements of your muscles. This form of energy is also responsible for circulation, respiration and the nervous system. Vata is the king of the doshas.
Kapha contains the properties the earth and water elements meet. Therefore, Kapha unites properties such as heavy, slow, and steady, but also soft, dense, tough, and cold. In the body, Kapha is responsible for solidity and all structures as well as for the right amount of body fluids.
